Mercure Goulburn boasts 74 stylish and comfortable rooms, including spa rooms, serviced apartments, function rooms, and the Edge bar & Restaurant.
We are looking for a casual Front Office / Guest Service Agent to join the team.
About the role:
You will be responsible for creating a professional first impression for the hotel. You will perform guest check-ins and check-outs, make reservations, maintain guest records and room accounts, and assist with any other guest enquiries, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service at all times.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will:
- have previous experience in the same or similar role;
- have a passion for customer service and interacting with people;
- be punctual, efficient and courteous;
- have a strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work comfortably within a fast-paced environment;
- have the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency;
- demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- be team focused with the ability to work autonomously;
- have initiative as well as strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
- be willing to learn and understand all aspects of the hotel;
- a sound knowledge of Opera Cloud will be highly regarded;
- Current NSW RSA required, or ability to acquire.
You must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Immediate start available.
NB: There is potential for the role to become full-time for the right candidate.
