Together, we're building stronger communities and a more sustainable tomorrow.We're entering an exciting phase of growth, and we're looking for a Team Leader, Access & Outage Planning to help us lead the way.As Team Leader, Access & Outage Planning, this role will see you delivering scheduling, coordination, and facilitation of planned outages of the electricity network ensuring safety of personnel, public and plant, achieving organisational targets, minimising costs, re-work and impact on customer supply reliability.With a hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role can be based in any of our major depots and is part of the Access & Outage Planning team with our Distribution line of business.This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:Leading a team to manage outage schedules and coordinate network accessPromoting a positive, productive work environment through mentorship and coachingEnsuring compliance with industry standards, including customer notification protocolsIdentifying and implementing process improvementsMonitoring and maintaining high performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) targetsSupporting continuous improvement of network accuracy and customer experienceContributing to data accuracy and risk mitigation in all planned outagesFacilitating training and knowledge-sharing within the Access & Outage Planning teamYou don't need to tick every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:Experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with demonstrated experience in an operational or planning roleExperience within a leadership position, mentoring and developing team members, highly desirableStrong understanding of electricity distribution networks and compliance standardsProblem-solving skills and experience managing complex challengesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsFamiliarity with industry safety standards, including the Code of Practice on Electrical SafetyGood level of knowledge and understanding of the Electricity Distribution Network elements, typical operational policies, procedures, reporting and codes of practiceA real place to belong.We celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team.
