Dental Hygienist/Therapist

At Smile Again Dental Clinic, we are passionate about providing high-quality, accessible dental care to the community, with a special focus on aged care and mobile services. We're looking for a motivated and compassionate Dental Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist to join our growing team

New Graduates are Welcomed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide preventative dental care including scale and cleans, fluoride treatments, and oral health education
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored oral health treatment plans
• Deliver hygiene services to patients in-clinic and/or in aged care facilities (mobile services as required)
• Collaborate with dental prosthetists, dentists, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with AHPRA and ADA standards
• Promote good oral hygiene and preventative care practices to patients of all ages

Requirements:

• Qualification in Dental Hygiene or Oral Health Therapy (accredited by an Australian university)
• Current AHPRA registration
• Professional indemnity insurance
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Drivers license and own transport preferred (for mobile services)

Desirable:

• Experience in aged care or mobile dental services
• Confidence in using dental software systems
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations (optional)
