Ngala Early Learning Joondalup is a well-established Centre located near Joondalup Hospital and Edith Cowan University. The Centre offers a beautiful and welcoming environment where children thrive in spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, with an embedded arts curriculum and a range of stimulating learning opportunities.

Our Joondalup Centre's operating hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.00am to 6.15pm.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Coordinator you will lead your service to meet and exceed the National Quality Standards, holding robust knowledge of Australian Early Education and Care Law, and Regulations. You will be abreast contemporary approaches, coaching your team to deliver safe and high-quality education and care to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
Your professional practice and engagement will align to Ngala's core values of human connection, integrity, fairness and creativity. As the Coordinator you will establish and maintain respectful and reciprocal relationships with children, families, community and the broader Ngala network.
You will role model excellent leadership and activate a strengths-based approach to build and develop your team to deliver outstanding performance. Working with your team and the internal Ngala support services you will adapt strong business acumen to ensure that your service delivers on attendance, labour management and contribution.
Just as important, you'll become part of a close-knit team who support each other, learn from each other and love coming to work.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are passionate about children's learning and development. You will have:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in children's services
- Prior experience in a Childcare Centre Coordinator role
- Bachelor of Social Science (Children and Family Studies) or equivalent / Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent / Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years old
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), the National Quality Standard (NQS), Quality Improvement Plan processes and The United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and self-learning to achieve the best outcomes for children
- High level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months
- Current WA Working with Children's Check
