PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Lead Manager is the first point of human contact for prospective online Snowy River Caravans customers. Your job is to turn interest into intent. You'll guide leads through their early decision-making, qualify them based on their lifestyle and needs, and connect them to the right dealership or salesperson.
From there, you'll track the lead through to a sales conversion or lost deal.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Contact
- Respond to inbound leads within 5–15 minutes (calls, forms, live chat, social)
 - Use scripted and personalised questioning to qualify intent, product fit, timeline, budget, and location
 - Update CRM records in real-time with full transparency (we use Salesforce)
 
Appointment Setting
- Book sales appointments or product viewings with the appropriate dealership/sales team
 - Match lead to appropriate caravan range (Hybrid, Pop-Top, Luxury, etc.) based on persona and preferences
 
Lead Nurturing
- Build trust through proactive follow-ups via calls, SMS, and email
 - Maintain engagement over weeks/months for "not ready yet" leads
 - Maintain clear next steps for every lead
 
Sales Support
- Close sales when appropriate (especially if the customer is ready and qualified)
 - Escalate hot leads instantly to a dealer or sales representative
 
Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain 100% accurate CRM records (status, notes, caravan type, budget, interests, etc.)
 - Tag leads for future retargeting (e.g., Hybrid buyer, NSW, etc)
 - Report weekly on funnel performance and blockers
 
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong verbal communication and confidence on the phone
 - Highly organised and comfortable using CRM tools, especially Salesforce
 - Able to follow a script but confident adapting to each lead
 - Passionate about outdoor adventure, travel, caravanning, or off-grid living
 - Resilient and self-motivated, you know how to follow up without being pushy
 - Familiarity with Snowy River Caravans and our competitors is a bonus

First Contact Time:- Qualification Rate: 60%+
- Appointment Set Rate: 40%+
- CRM Data Accuracy: 100%
