GREAT OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team in the Melbourne and surrounding suburbs of Victoria, on a full-time, ongoing basis.

As Construction Manager, your primary focus is to manage a team of Site Managers as well as the construction schedules of building developments, from pre site start through to the final inspection and maintenance stage. Reporting to our Operations Manager and supportive Management Team.

Some key accountability for this role include:

  • Coordinate and review Pre site paperwork. (Engineering, Architectural, Permits, consultant reports, etc).
  • Create, maintain and update the construction programme/schedule across all jobs.
  • Management of Site Managers.
  • Ensuring projects are completed within contractual time frames.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Building strong and ongoing working relationships with construction team, trades and suppliers.
  • Assist in rectifying compliance based issues, both pre and on site.
  • Managing labour across numerous projects

WHO YOU ARE

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience with Hammertech a must .
  • Recent experience, background and history in the Melbourne construction industry (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of the Australian building regulations, Standards and Tolerances and OHS requirements.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
