About the Role

you'll take on a hands-on leadership role overseeing the safe, high-quality delivery of major transmission infrastructure projects across Victoria.

You'll be responsible for leading construction delivery from planning through to completion, providing constructability insights, managing delivery partners, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance are met at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead transmission construction projects from preconstruction to handover.
  • Provide technical and constructability input during design and tender stages.
  • Conduct site inspections and safety audits, ensuring compliance with WorkSafe and HSE&Q frameworks.
  • Oversee quality assurance, ITPs, and ensure works meet design and Station Design Manual standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and delivery partners on RFIs, variations, and practical completion.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, as-builts, and handover records.
  • Drive a strong safety culture, promoting zero harm and continuous improvement on site.

About You

You'll bring a solid background in transmission line construction and a proactive, safety-first mindset.

  • Experience in Transmission Line Construction, ideally with field leadership exposure.
  • A Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead
  • Hands-on experience with barehand and/or hot stick techniques.
  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and communication skills.
