Busy Bees at Springfield Lakes is a welcoming 75-place early learning service with thoughtfully designed indoor learning environments and vibrant outdoor play areas — including sandpits, a bike track, climbing wall, teepee, bush tucker garden, and vegetable and herb gardens.

We spark curiosity and support every child's learning journey through play-based learning, meaningful relationships, and high-quality care.

‍ About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and creative Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our hive. You'll be supported by an inclusive and experienced team and have the opportunity to grow your leadership capabilities within a leading early learning organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver an engaging Kindergarten Program aligned with the EYLF and NQS
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the teaching team
  • Observe and document children's learning and use it to inform future planning
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure inclusive, child-led learning
  • Reflect on and continuously improve your teaching practices

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-recognised)
  • Blue card valid for paid work
  • Current First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

Desirable Skills and Attributes

  • Previous experience delivering early childhood education programs
  • Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
  • Confidence with observation and documentation processes
  • Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
  • Tech-friendly – comfortable with platforms used for programming and communication
