Educational Leader role at Goodstart North Lakes – College Street. Full-time, permanent position. Pay: $38.20 - $66.09 p/h (Depends on qualification & experience) + $2.25 Educational Leader Allowance + Super. Location: North Lakes, Brisbane area.

Responsibilities

- Lead change, and champion practice uplift and excellence

- Collaborate with Educators to observe, review, and enhance educational programs

- Guide the application of the Early Years Learning Framework

- Work with the centre leadership team to lead transformative changes and champion educational excellence

- Drive curriculum excellence aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework

- Mentor educators and uplift teaching practices in a collaborative learning culture

- Ensure the centre maintains its Exceeding NQS rating through high-quality, intentional teaching

About Goodstart North Lakes – College Street

Goodstart North Lakes – College Street is seeking a dedicated and visionary Educational Leader who will nurture young minds and lead, mentor, and innovate in a thriving early learning environment. Located about 26 km from Brisbane's CBD, North Lakes offers a vibrant community with parklands, family-friendly spaces, shopping and dining, and easy access to services.

Our purpose-built, 119-place centre offers early education for children aged 6 weeks to Kindergarten. With two Kindergarten rooms and large outdoor spaces, we create an environment where children explore, imagine, and learn deeply. Rated "Exceeding" by ACECQA in May 2024.

- 119-place centre with 88.8% occupancy YTD

- Operating hours: 6am – 6pm, Monday – Friday

- As an Educational Leader, 8 hours a week off the floor to focus on curriculum development

- Driving curriculum excellence aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework

- Mentoring educators, uplifting teaching practices

- Championing innovation and reflective practice

- Maintaining Exceeding NQS rating through high-quality teaching

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved equivalent)

- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

- Current QLD Working with Children Check

If you have previous experience leading change in education and hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education), a Diploma qualification or ACECQA approved equivalent, we'd love to talk about the best fit for you.
