We're seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver a range of medium-sized application projects across all stages of the project lifecycle, from initiation through to closure. This is a hands-on leadership role within a dynamic technology environment, driving the successful delivery of key business initiatives within scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.

About the Role:

In this role, you will take ownership of multiple IT application projects, managing their day-to-day execution using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You'll work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered seamlessly and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT Applications projects from initiation to closure in line with the Project Management Plan
  • Oversee project delivery across scope, schedule, budget, and quality parameters
  • Provide regular reporting to the Steering Committee, senior management, and IT PMO on project progress, risks, and issues
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and strategic partners to ensure aligned delivery
  • Manage RAID and Change Control Registers, project cost models, and schedules
  • Finalise projects through structured handover, asset transfer, and financial closure

You're a proactive and outcomes-driven Project Manager who thrives in complex environments and enjoys leading cross-functional teams. You bring a strong mix of delivery discipline, stakeholder management, and adaptability

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing IT projects in medium-to-large organisations
  • Proven experience in application-focused projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, and tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Jira (experience with Project Online and SAP Project Management modules highly regarded)
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, taking initiative to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
