About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join John Flynn Retirement Village in Burwood East as a Personal Care Worker. We have some casual and part time roles avaliable.

We strive to be the exemplars of quality in the aged-care industry and champions of the continuum of care model; delivering care that is tailored to our residents' health needs, preferences and rights, and we're looking for the right kind of people to join us on this incredible journey.

In this role you will:

  • Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families
  • Follow our resident's individual care plans, providing care that would be good enough for mum and dad
  • Use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app myRyman
  • Work closely with, and support your colleagues creating a great team environment

About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

  • Cert 3 Individual Support, OR Cert 4 in Ageing Support ONLY.
  • Residential aged care facility experience is essential.
  • Understanding of dementia and hold positive working style and empathetic approach towards resident living with dementia is essential.
  • Understanding of elder abuse is essential.
  • Experience in care for palliative residents is essential.
  • Efficient time management, able to work independently without supervision and under pressure.
