Are you looking for a new adventure? Come join the Department of Health as the Senior Advisor, Rural Occupational Violence & Security Support. You will provide expert security and occupational violence prevention advice to Hospital and Health Services across Queensland, with a particular focus on remote locations. You will also contribute to state-wide initiatives and projects to improve the safety and security of all Queensland Health staff, patients and consumers.

About you

You'll be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security and/or occupational violence prevention. You will be comfortable with navigating a complex regulatory environment, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interpret legislation, policy and standards. You will be familiar with the priorities of a healthcare environment and be comfortable adapting security controls to reflect those priorities.
