About the role:

In this rewarding role, you'll make a real difference in the lives of young people aged who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. As part of our Youth Specialist Homelessness Support program, you'll provide guidance, practical support, and empowerment to help young people build the skills and confidence they need to live independently. You'll walk alongside them as they navigate challenges, access education, employment, and safe housing, and work toward their goals for a brighter future. Your compassion, advocacy, and commitment will play a key part in helping young people move from crisis to stability - creating lasting, positive change in their lives and in the community.

What you will bring to the team:

Strong understanding of the challenges facing young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, and a commitment to supporting their health and wellbeing.

Experience working directly with young people, ideally within homelessness, accommodation, or youth support services.

Proven ability to conduct client assessments and manage cases with empathy, professionalism, and a person-centred approach.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, collaborate effectively, and solve problems creatively.

Clear and concise written communication skills, with the ability to document case notes and reports accurately and professionally.
