What will you do?

As Team Leader, you will manage the Team Leaders to support the Target Distribution Centre operations. You'll ensure inbound orders are efficiently processed or held in "replenishment stock", ready for picking or sorting for store delivery or customer dispatch. Your focus will be maintaining best-in-class service levels in a safe, cost-effective environment.

Other key responsibilities will include:

Proactive safety and compliance leadershipOperational leadership of our team membersAccountability for the performance of your teamAbility to engage and motivate team members on an individual level to drive a positive cultureDevelopment of the team to maximise individual and team outputDelivering results in line with expected standards of work your areaProviding a high level of customer service to our retail stores and customers

What are we looking for?

You'll have proven leadership and relationship skills in a Distribution Centre role, with experience using warehouse management systems and strong safety and compliance knowledge. You'll be skilled in training and motivating diverse teams, communicating effectively, influencing others, and managing operational KPIs. This role requires rotating afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • Previous warehouse experience including ecommerce capability
  • Technical knowledge of warehouse management systems is highly regarded
  • Experience leading and developing teams within a Distribution Centre environment
  • Relevant post-secondary qualifications is an advantage (e.g. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain)
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management is an advantage
