Accounts Assistant
Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual looking for a fulltime 6 month contract? Our Headquarters in Bayswater is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team from early June 2025, on a temporary basis to help us stay on top of a busy workload.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively in a supportive and dynamic team.
About the Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be responsible for assisting with a range of financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our finance department. This role is initially offered as a fixed term fulltime position for twelve months, with the possibility of extension.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:

Invoice Processing: Manage the Zanda account (250–300 invoices per week) and assist with 200–300 additional stock supply invoices.

Transaction Reconciliation: Process 200–250 daily transactions and 150–200 credit card transactions each month.

Administrative Support: Attach invoices to FWKS, update customer and supplier databases, and maintain organised financial records.

Team Collaboration: Support training of team members and assist with reconciling builder accounts, reviewing credit limits, and updating procedures.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Experience in Accounts Payable/Finance: Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy in handling financial data.

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using accounting software and Excel.

Team-Oriented Mindset: Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to collaboration.
