We have an opportunity for a passionate and experienced Diploma qualified Educator who believes that they are ready for the next step in their career by moving into the Educational Leader role.

Upon joining the team, you will have a combined role of Diploma/ECT qualified Educator and non-contact periods to fulfil the Educational Leadership responsibilities.  This is not a non-contact role, but a great opportunity for someone who is genuinely passionate about becoming embedded in the team and having a role modelling, coaching and, mentoring focus.

You will be responsible for guiding our team to offer exceptional environments and learning experiences for our children.  If you are supportive, creative, and professional in your approach, keen to learn - and able to inspire, nurture talent, and mentor our team to be that kind of educator too - then this may be the role for you.

Your Role:

  • Offer ongoing support, inspiration, feedback, coaching and mentoring - whilst wearing the "Educational Leader" hat.
  • Be an active member of the Centre Leadership Team, providing leadership and contributing to the ongoing development of the centre.
  • Collaboratively support the implementation of Early Years Learning Framework Version 2.
  • Work to establish a meaningful curriculum across all rooms at the centre, with support from management/Centre Leadership Team.
  • Coach and mentor educators to understand and document the play-based learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the community.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of an ECE Diploma, plus all necessary certifications.
  • Proven experience in a Lead Educator role within a LDC setting along with a commitment to understanding and advocating for contemporary ECE practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong knowledge of the EYLFV2.
