We are currently recruiting for a Cafe Kitchen Hand/ Cook to join the team for an immediate start.

You will be responsible for:

  • Food Preparation: Assisting in basic food prep like chopping produce, washing produce, portioning ingredients, or preparing Larder dishes (i.e. cold appetizers, salads, sandwiches etc).
  • Cooking: Cooking a wide range of fresh, high-quality meals and snacks for our cafe.
  • Dishwashing and Cleaning: If required, support the Dish Pit by washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen. You'll always be helping to maintain a clean kitchen, though.
  • Waste Management: Disposing of kitchen waste, recycling, and ensuring that trash is handled efficiently to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
  • Maintaining Hygiene Standards: Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed, including food handling and storage and cleaning procedures.
