Where you'll be working

Based at Tamworth Medical Imaging, you'll be supported by a dedicated Imaging team of 23 Radiographers and a wide range of multidisciplinary staff. Together, we deliver high-quality, patient-centred medical imaging services to the people of Tamworth and the surrounding region.

Tamworth is the central hub of the New England North West, with a population of just under 60,000. Known as Australia's country music and equine capital, the region combines the best of rural living with modern city amenities. With its agricultural heritage, vibrant community, and temperate climate, Tamworth offers the perfect place to experience all four seasons.

About the role

In this role, you'll:

• Provide comprehensive Medical Imaging services across multiple modalities
• Work as part of a 7-day rotating roster (including on-call)
  Occasionally travel to satellite sites to support imaging services

Requirements:

• Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
• Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold current NSW EPA Radiation licence.

Additional Information:

• To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
