About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our maintenance team. Based at our new facility in Scoresby, your main responsibilities will be:


• Attend any equipment breakdowns during operation and resolve issues in a timely manner.


• implementation of preventative maintenance schedules across all manufacturing equipment, provide detailed reports of wok completed and recommend any unplanned maintenance activities that need to be scheduled.


• Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities with approved third-party suppliers.


• Participate in equipment evaluation and installation of new equipment as the company develops new processes and procedures.


• Where required, complete maintenance activities at our Melbourne retail outlets

We are looking for a hands-on professional who is good on tools with excellent attention to detail. You will be able to work as part of a team or autonomously and in line with our occupational health and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities


• Implement our maintenance schedules and provides replenishment orders for consumables. Maintains time and maintenance records.


• Assist RNC staff in resolving work problems/ equipment performance issues.


• Confers with other colleagues to coordinate maintenance activities.


• Partner with RNC team members to improve our OH&S and facilities culture.


• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. Maintain clean and orderly work areas.


• Provide daily/ weekly reports as required.


• Other duties may, from time to time, be assigned.

Skills and Experience


• 6 years' experience in a hands-on manufacturing maintenance role


• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions.


• Knowledge of general maintenance methods.


• Able to draft routine reports and correspondence.


• Able to communicate issues/problems effectively to non-technical managers/employees.

Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification or equivalent from a college or technical school.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Computer literate.
