Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing Line

About the location

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing Line is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our robotics and automated machinery. This hands-on role focuses on preventative care, troubleshooting, and minimising downtime across Modscape + Modbotics' state-of-the-art manufacturing line.

About the role

Your day to day will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and calibration of robotic and automated machinery.
  • Troubleshooting breakdowns using diagnostic tools and system programs.
  • Conducting lubrication schedules, wear-part inspections, and mechanical repairs.
  • Updating maintenance logs, inspection reports, and compliance records.
  • Supporting process improvements to reduce downtime and enhance efficiency.

What you'll bring

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Fitting & Machining, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience maintaining mechanical systems (conveyors, gearboxes, assemblies).
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and apply WHS safe work practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
