Your impact

The purpose of this role is to lead and contribute to water resources projects and to collaboratively work with other disciplines. You will be required to write proposals for, and manage, low risk projects.

You will be responsible for

Undertaking a range of natural resource management projects

Leading water resources inputs into projects being led by other parts of the business

Completing office based assessments

Preparation of risk assessments and method statements

Data collation and analysis.

Leading engagement with clients, stakeholders and regulators to support technical delivery

Preparation of proposals and bid documents

Data collection and analysis

Presenting information to clients, stakeholders and internal management at meetings in a concise and effective manner

Authoring complex assessments / reports

Report checking and review

Here's what you'll need

Degree in Science (or related field)

Review or author technical reports that detail the type, methodologies, results of field activities, interpretation of results and impact assessment

Coaching and mentoring of junior staff Build on fundamental understanding of water resources and assessments.

Be able to communicate results and analysis with internal and external clients.

Build relationships with team throughout the Jacobs business.

Effectively collaborate with the wider water resource practice to share technical skills, resources or work packages

Attain/maintain proficiency in the use of standard tools, techniques and equipment that are required for the undertaking, completion, and delivery of your work

Ensure sufficient knowledge of the legislation and policies that are relevant to your work Able to directly liase with clients in a confident manner and lead meetings.

Build relationships with clients, contribute business development and support the pursuit of new opportunities with existing and new clients
