We're looking for a
Senior Ecologist
to join our Waterways & Ecology team in NSW. You'll lead and deliver high-quality assessments, and collaborate on climate, waterway, and environmental resilience projects across NSW.

Water Technology's Waterways & Ecology team comprises 20
engineers and scientists
across NSW, VIC, QLD, and WA, dedicated to delivering integrated ecological and waterway management solutions. Our team's expertise spans riparian and terrestrial ecology, waterway rehabilitation, geomorphic investigations, biodiversity assessments, and environmental impact evaluations.
The

Across Australia there are over 160 Water Techers based in offices around WA, NT, SA, VIC, QLD, NSW and NZ. We are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year with a national 3-day companywide get together in Geelong.

What you'll do:

  • Solid understanding of environmental legislation and BAM
  • Project delivery and stakeholder engagement experience
  • BAM or bushfire planning accreditation (essential)
  • Current Australian driver's license

What we offer:

  • Full-time or part-time with hybrid flexibility (we can also discuss casual). If you are a sole trader looking for project work, we can also discuss.
  • You will be part of a national team
  • Annual bonus incentive + employee share scheme
  • Learning and development support
  • A team that values science, sustainability, and people
  • Comprehensive Employee Assistance Program
  • Annual exchange program
  • Generous staff referral program
