Tuggeranong Valley Australian Football and Netball Club is a strong community sporting organisation established for over 50 years in Canberra, ACT.

With over 600 registered AFL players and just under 200 registered netball players, the Club is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the organisation of the teams in the AFL Canberra Junior, Senior and Masters competitions . This role will perform operational support of the club including administration, logistics, communications and liaison with our sponsors.

You would be part of a welcoming and friendly Club with strong engagement with and support from the Board and volunteers across the club.

Key Competencies:

● Operations management experience within a sports club, association or other relevant business.

● An understanding and appreciation of community sport in Australia.

● Very positive communication skills and experience liaising with stakeholders, volunteers and sponsors.

● Strong organisational skills with a passion for project management - both short and long term.

● A solutions-focused mindset ready to adapt to different situations and personalities

● A keen eye for detail but also able to see the bigger picture.

● A team player who works well in a fast paced, agile and often changing environment.

● Knowledge of Google Suite, Play HQ registration platforms and other relevant

software.

● Driver's licence.

● Valid Working with Children Check.

● Valid National Police Check.
