About You
The Executive Assistant provides high-level customised administrative and executive support to the Principal playing a pivotal role in enabling the smooth operation of a dynamic administration office. You will be responsible for managing the Principal's complex schedule, coordinating key initiatives and ensuring the seamless flow of communication and administration.
Your responsibilities include but are not be limited to:
- delivering high level administrative and executive support to the Principal in a timely and accurate manner
- managing Principal's calendar, correspondence and confidential communications
- coordinating meetings, events and travel logistics
- responding as the first point of contact to those enquiries that pertain to the Principal and require an excellent working knowledge of the College
- building and fostering positive and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- exercising discretion, judgement, intiative, and confidentiality at all times
- communicating with the Principal and school community members on administrative and payroll systems, recruitment, staff development and office priorities
- exhibiting management prowess in administration, human resources, office leadership, and other related reports for the Principal
- supporting strategic initatives and College-wide projects
- a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- any other duties as directed by the Principal.
To thrive in this role, you will possess:
- proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar senior support role
- outstanding organisational and time-management skills
- excellent written and verbal communication
- a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- valuable qualities such as tact, reliability, and the ability to work in a team effectively
- a commitment to honesty, discretion, and maintaining confidentiality
- prior experience working with children or in a school environment
- strong interpersonal and organisational abilities
- familiarity with emerging technologies like Google Suite, Oracle, Microsoft Office software, Google Chrome, Compass, CiAnywhere, PHRIS.
You will have attained:
- a minimum of five years of administrative/clerical experience
- experience in a team leader/supervisor or personal/executive assistant capacity
- proficiency in financial and administrative management
- a Certificate III/IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting, or a related field.
