Mechanical Workshop Controller – Peninsula Autohaus

The Role

As our Workshop Controller, you will be the key link between technicians, service advisors, and management, ensuring the smooth daily operation of the workshop. You'll keep jobs flowing efficiently, uphold quality standards, and help maintain our strong customer reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate daily workshop operations
  • Allocate jobs to technicians based on skillset and availability
  • Monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work
  • Assist with diagnostics or mechanical tasks when required
  • Ensure workshop compliance with safety and procedural standards
  • Support service advisors with accurate repair times and technical information
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and high-performing workshop environment
About You
  • Previous experience in a workshop controller, foreman, or senior technician role
  • Strong technical knowledge—European/Volkswagen Group experience highly regarded
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
