**THE ROLE**

EnterpRising Above Barriers is an intensive pathways to employment program supporting young people who identify as female aged 16-24 years who have been impacted by the justice system.

The program provides a combined approach of peer support workshops and individual case management to identify employment goals, recognise existing enterprise skills, build confidence and life skills, and develop emotional recognition and regulation with emphasis on personal growth.

**ABOUT YOU**

You're passionate about working with and supporting young people and you understand how to bring out their full potential and realise their strengths and values to align with employment opportunities. Your experience and capabilities include:

- Demonstrated understanding of the issues faced by youth at risk, in particular young people who identify as female and who have been or are engaged with the justice system.
- Demonstrated knowledge of case management principles and practice, including record keeping and evaluation data.
- Strong group facilitation capabilities, both online and in person.
- Ability to develop respectful, positive relationships with young people while maintaining clear boundaries.
- Experience in managing internal and external stakeholder engagement via various means of appropriate and clear communication.
- Experience in working with a youth participatory framework, trauma informed practice and co-design practice.
- Experience in delivering risk assessments and management of risk.

**Qualifications include**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in education, youth work, social work, social sciences or similar.
- Training in relevant child protection legislation.
- A current working with children check and driver's license (and willingness to undergo a Whitelion Police Check)
