Kotzur is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Walla Walla (30 minute drive from Albury).
About the role
As a Project Manager, you will play a key strategic role in overseeing and delivering complex construction projects to the highest standards. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of these projects and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
- Overseeing all aspects of project execution, including coordinating contractors, managing resources, and monitoring progress
- Arranging and managing the commissioning process (including all client signoffs and the provision of documents such as operating manuals etc). This includes physical presence and site management
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks, and implementing effective risk management strategies
- Providing regular progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Continuously looking for ways to improve project efficiency and effectiveness
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects, ideally within the Construction industry
- Strong understanding of Project Management principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
- Proficient in the use of project management software and tools including Microsoft Project
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams
