About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Centre Director / Centre Manager to lead a new, purpose-built early learning centre, an incredibly well-resourced service that is at full occupancy

This centre's full enrolment reflects the organisation's strong reputation for quality care, highly skilled educators and the genuine trust of families in the community. 

You'll have the trust and autonomy to shape the culture, with the full support of the Area Manager and State Manager. They're there to guide you, not micromanage. We know that autonomy is essential for strong leadership and you'll be empowered to make decisions without being pressured by unrealistic expectations.

On-site, you'll have a full-time Assistant Director to share operational responsibilities and a dedicated Educational Leader to champion curriculum and programming — giving you the time and space to focus on inspiring your team and creating a high-quality learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a passionate team of educators.
  • Drive a positive workplace culture that reflects the centre's values.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, regulations and policies.
  • Manage staff rostering, budgets and financial reporting.
  • Partner with families to build strong, positive relationships.
  • Support the development and implementation of high-quality programs through collaboration with your Educational Leader.
  • Promote professional growth and performance development within your team.

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma of Children's Services or Bachelor of Early Childhood (ACECQA recognised).
  • Minimum 2–3 years' full-time experience as a Centre Director (or higher) in a medium-sized service.
  • Strong understanding of EYLF, QIP, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, performance management and staff development.
  • Knowledge of Qikkids (or similar software) preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • Current WWCC or VIT, plus First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management training.
  • Full Australian working rights.
