Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our Australian team, focused on driving growth and delivering impact across the federal, state, and local government sectors.

In this role, you'll craft and execute account strategies, build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and position our geospatial and property data solutions as the answer to complex challenges facing government today. You'll balance strategic growth with exceptional service, ensuring our clients see measurable impact from their investment in our data.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Shape Government Strategy: Develop and execute tailored account plans across government agencies at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Drive Growth: Expand existing accounts, generate new opportunities, and deliver sustainable revenue against targets.
  • Engage Senior Stakeholders: Build trust with decision-makers, lead complex deal negotiations, and represent our brand at the highest levels of government.
  • Tailor Solutions: Conduct solution-focused product demonstrations, oversee proposals and tenders, and ensure client needs translate into actionable, data-driven outcomes.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with customer delivery managers, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to deliver dynamic client strategies.
  • Monitor Performance: Track accounts against budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Champion a Consultative Approach: Position our data solutions as strategic enablers for government, from infrastructure and planning to emergency services and environmental management.

Job Qualifications
What you will bring:

  • Strong experience in a consultative, client-facing role within data, SaaS, or government-focused solutions.
  • Proven success in growing and managing government accounts, with a track record of building long-term, strategic relationships.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles including tenders, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at senior government levels.
  • A proactive, strategic mindset with strong financial acumen for managing budgets and forecasts.
  • Knowledge of geospatial, mapping, or property data (highly regarded).
  • Experience with government procurement frameworks and panels is a strong advantage.
