The Opportunity
We are seeking multiple experienced financial crime analysts to join our Australia & Asia Financial Crime Team.
You will be a subject-matter expert and trusted adviser to the partnership and lawyers on financial crime compliance. This includes the application of the firm's AML/CTF policies and procedures in respect of client & matter due diligence, risk assessments, complex and/or high-risk queries and reputational risk advice.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 1-2 years demonstrable experience in a Financial Crime environment in a regulated sector, or with a regulatory body or law enforcement. 
- Tertiary degree and/or be qualified in either CDD/Compliance or have worked in a Financial Crime environment in the regulated sector, or with a regulatory body or law enforcement. 
- An ability to handle complex and confidential matters, with total discretion. 
- A proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team. 
- An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously. 
- Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team. 
- A hunger to learn and develop and be part of maintaining a market-leading practice. 
The team:
The Financial Crime team forms part of the New Business Intake and Enterprise Risk ("NBI & ER") function and is well- established globally. It is embarking on an exciting journey to set up to align with the anticipated new regulations being introduced in Australia, and to align with shifting markets globally. The Australian team is primarily based in Sydney and Melbourne, and we work closely with our global colleagues in the UK and Asia.
