About the role
Reporting to the SA State Manager, the Project Coordinator role is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the SA Government-funded training program to enable specialist GPs to diagnose and initiate treatment of ADHD.
The role will have high-level engagement with stakeholders, monitor and update project plans, and coordinate implementation of project activities, including a one-day workshop event and a series of online education sessions.
Please note that the successful candidate will be required to work at least two weekday evenings each fortnight - on a monthly basis throughout the year and at least one weekend depending on the project deliverables. (Overtime payment or Time off in lieu will apply).
As our Project Coordinator, you will:
Deliver the agreed project scope, objectives, and priorities within established timelines.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and deliver project events and activities — including monthly online peer learning sessions and a one-day, face-to-face workshop for 100+ GPs.
Respond to member and stakeholder enquiries via telephone, email, and in person.
Coordinate, schedule, document, and facilitate meetings in line with project priorities.
Work collaboratively with presenters and the education working group to develop and coordinate educational content for online webinars and face-to-face workshops.
Prepare agendas, schedule meetings, and record minutes and action items for regular education working group and stakeholder meetings.
Review, maintain, and develop program-related materials, including documentation, presentations, videos, and web content.
Identify, analyse, and evaluate data and information to support problem-solving, identify opportunities, and inform evaluation reporting.
Lead the evaluation process and manage reporting requirements to SA Health.
Facilitate meetings with SA Health and provide updates on key milestones.
Develop a curated list of ADHD-related resources for GPs completing the training program.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in managing grant-funded projects, with strong organisational and reporting skills.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities, with a strong member and consumer-focused approach.
Demonstrated capacity to plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects or events across varying timeframes.
Excellent understanding of Australian general practice and the broader primary healthcare system.
Experience working in health and/or education environments.
Skilled in coordinating online education and training, including logistics and participant management.
Experience in coordinating educational content for both online and in person delivery.
Strong background in event management, from planning to post-event evaluation.
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and technical setup for educational delivery.
Familiarity with CRM systems, electronic document management software, and confident use of Microsoft Teams for meetings and webinars.
