Lead geological excellence across open pit and underground operations at one of WA's most established gold producers.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Geology Manager, you'll lead the geology team and oversee all geological functions on site. Your focus will be safe, efficient delivery of planned tonnes and grade, strong grade control, accurate modelling and continuous improvement across geology systems and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring and developing the geology team
  • Maintaining grade control strategies and procedures
  • Ensuring alignment across geology, mining, processing and LOM planning
  • Minimising dilution and maximising ore recovery
  • Managing QAQC, drilling, sampling and reconciliation programs
  • Supporting mid- to long-term planning and operational decisions

About You

  • Degree in Geology or Geoscience
  • Senior experience across open pit and underground gold operations
  • Strong leadership capability and coaching mindset
  • Experience in grade control, modelling and reconciliation
  • Skilled with Surpac, Leapfrog and related geological software
  • Clear communicator with strong problem-solving ability
