About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Accounting Trainer & Assessor to join our dynamic training team in Melbourne.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to domestic and/or international students, ensuring that learning outcomes are met in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and compliant training sessions for Certificate IV and Diploma of Accounting courses.
  • Conduct assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
  • Maintain accurate training and assessment records in line with RTO standards.
  • Support students in achieving competency through mentoring and academic guidance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of learning materials and assessment tools.
  • Ensure all activities comply with ASQA and RTO policies and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or the updated equivalent).
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering VET courses in a classroom or blended environment.
  • Sound understanding of competency-based training and assessment principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Experience working with international students and multicultural classrooms (highly regarded).
