Use your technical excellence in a highly visible leadership role, developing pricing and ongoing evaluation of travel insurance products tailored to the needs of Australian traveller. You will be working with executives; shaping systems and processes to keep the organisation ahead in the dynamic, customer-focused travel insurance market.

About the Role
As Lead Actuary at Europ Assistance Australia, you will play a pivotal role in designing, pricing, and monitoring insurance products, helping us build on what makes us successful, the way care and protection are delivered on every journey.
What you'll be doing:
As a leader in our Strategy and Insurance Team you will:
- Champion innovation in insurance through data-driven product development and competitive pricing strategies.
- Drive cross-functional teamwork across product, commercial, and partnership teams at both Australia and global levels.
- Safeguard technical excellence in reporting, compliance, and reserving practices—keeping Europ Assistance a trusted leader.
- Lead new product opportunities and periodic pricing reviews that deliver value for customers.
- Provide influential insight and recommendations to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Advance business intelligence and analytics, leading the development of BI tools and reporting.
- Enhance the technical foundations of claims management and actuarial reserving.
What We're Looking For
- 5-10 years relevant actuarial work experience in insurance industry, preferably within pricing. A background in travel insurance would be highly advantageous.
- Proven leadership experience, with strong skills in mentoring, stakeholder engagement, and exposure to working in a fast-paced global organisation.
- Excellent technical, reporting and analytical capabilities, including expertise in the development and implementation of BI tools.
- Highly developed problem-solving ability and strong organisational skills
