Create impact as an Analyst, Actuarial
Your Role
As an Actuarial Analyst in the Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) Reserving Actuarial team, you'll be responsible for data manipulation and modelling to generate and support the recommendation of actuarial liabilities of the Workers Compensation portfolio. You'll develop key technical skills across reserving, capital and adjacent expertise areas (e.g. understanding and building actuarial models, and coding skills in SAS or R)
You'll play an active role in delivering processes and projects efficiently, recommending improvements where appropriate, and producing clear, insightful reports and dashboards using tools like R Markdown.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, based in either Gadigal Country (Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne)
At our core, we believe in investing in our people. You'll have access to comprehensive training programs, mentorship, and ongoing professional development to help you grow and succeed. As part of the IAG actuarial community, you'll also have the opportunity to sharpen your skills alongside industry experts and peers.
Make sure to discuss all internal applications with your current manager before applying.
