The Position:

We are looking for highly experienced Senior Structural Engineers to lead and work on a variety of exciting domestic and international projects from our Australian-based offices. You will be responsible for:

  • Executing structural designs that adhere to design and client specifications and standards;

  • Collaborating across disciplines with engineers, designers, architects and other stakeholders to develop and refine designs;

  • Providing technical expertise throughout the design phase, including calculations, modelling and documentation;

  • Ensuring all designs are QA compliant and meet company policies and relevant Australian Standards;

  • Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, reports and drawings;

  • Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure design requirements are met.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 10+ years experience as a consulting engineer in Australia;

  • Very good communication and relationship-building skills;

  • The ability to see your design fully realised via detailed calculations, & sketches, drawings & reporting;

  • Experience with concrete, steel and timber structures;

  • Experience with concrete water-retaining structures highly desirable;

  • Small team experience & mentoring skills;

  • Ability to work autonomously to deliver project outcomes.
