This opportunity is for a technically capable 
Structural Engineer
(2-5 years of experience) who's ready to step into a supportive role, learn from senior engineers and work on complex, large scale projects. I genuinely see this as a great opportunity for young engineers, looking to scale up their understanding of their craft and work and learn from the best. 

About the role:
You'll be joining a structural team known for it's delivery of complex projects, strong technical foundations and commitment to quality design. Due to the consultancy winning work and on course to taking on even more work, we are looking for structural engineers that can support their senior engineers; focusing on design, coordination and site delivery. 

What the role needs:

  • Structural analysis and design for reinforced and post-tensioned concrete buildings
  • Design experience for key structural elements - foundations, slabs, columns, and walls
  • Experience undertaking site inspections and responding to RFIs
  • Confidence and willingness to participate in client and consultant coordination meetings

About you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Masters in Structural Engineering is also very desirable)
  • 2-5 years experience in a consulting environment delivering multi-story buildings
  • Working knowledge of Australian Standards (AS3600, AS/NZS 1170 series, NCC)
  • Experience using RAM Concept and RAPT preferred; ETABS experience very advantageous
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of RC and PT Slab design is desirable
  • Coordination experience with drafters / REVIT teams
  • Great base understanding of engineering design and sound engineering judgement
