Graphic Designer

About the role

Yoohoo McPhee is seeking an experienced and talented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic creative team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for producing visually stunning and impactful designs that support our company's marketing and branding initiatives for our clients. This is a full-time position (part-time is a possibility for the right candidate) based in Grafton, located in the Northern Rivers area of the NSW North Coast.

What you'll be doing

1. Create original graphic designs for a variety of projects, including marketing materials, branding assets, and digital content
2. Collaborate with our small cross-functional team members to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet the needs of the business
3. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure our work remains cutting-edge
4. Offer creative input and recommendations to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of our marketing efforts
5. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and client presentations to present your work and ideas
6. Ensure all design projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards

What we're looking for

1. Ideally 2-5 years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in an agency or in-house creative environment
2. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Illustrator) and/or other design software
3. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout
4. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
6. Passion for creating visually stunning and impactful designs
7. Candidates with Print Industry experience are encouraged to apply although this is not a requirement.
