About the role
The DevSecOps Platform Engineer plays a pivotal role in safeguarding and enabling Housing Australia's enterprise technology platforms. Accountable for the secure, consistent, and efficient management of platforms and environments across their full lifecycle, the role ensures that platforms operate as resilient, high-performing foundations for the organisation's digital ecosystem.
By embedding security by design, automating processes, and applying proactive monitoring, the position minimises operational risk, protects sensitive information, and ensures compliance with regulatory and organisational obligations. Beyond operational assurance, the role actively drives optimisation, governance, and cost efficiency, enabling Housing Australia to deliver trusted, scalable, and sustainable technology services.
In doing so, the DevSecOps Platform Engineer strengthens digital resilience, supports innovation, and provides the technical foundation on which Housing Australia can confidently deliver current and future enterprise initiatives.

- Maintain secure, reliable, and scalable integrations across enterprise platforms (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, .NET, and proprietary systems)
- Oversee governance and configuration of Azure services (Data Factory, API Management, Synapse) to ensure compliant and trusted data flows that enable business reporting and analytics
- Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines across enterprise platforms using Azure DevOps and related toolsets, ensuring consistent, secure, and reliable deployments of applications, services, and infrastructure
- Provide advanced technical support and act as a point of escalation for complex platform, integration, and environment issues
- Embed DevSecOps practices into daily operations, ensuring security is applied consistently across platforms and environments
- Proactively monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability to ensure services meet agreed expectations
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks across applications, integrations, and environments to support real-time visibility
Skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments across development, testing, and production
- Proven ability to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ALM practices, and automated deployments in enterprise environments

- Hands-on experience with observability, logging, monitoring, and cost optimisation in Azure-hosted platforms
- Familiarity with data protection regulations and security frameworks (e.g., APPs, Essential Eight, ISO 27001)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical and operational issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
