Working within a busy manufacturing co of steel products we are looking for a self motivated and experienced storeperson to ensure all products are picked and packed accurately and despatched in a timely manner. 

The position will cover a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Running sales packing lists (once trained in our system)
  • Picking and preparing items for orders
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Stock control and inventory management
  • Coordinating dispatch with transport companies
  • Liaising with our sales team at other sites via email
  • Contacting customers to advise when orders are ready

Essential requirements:

  • A positive and proactive attitude towards work
  • Good computer skills
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve in the role
  • Current forklift licence

We're ideally looking for someone who can not only handle the operational side of the role but also bring initiative and commitment to help strengthen our branch operations.

Salary will commence at $38 per hour casual with a view to permanent after 12 weeks.

Successful applicants will need to undergo a pre employment medical including D & A.
