Description:

Project-based casual employment (1-2 days per week and up to 5 days during peak periods) with highly flexible working arrangements

We are looking for dedicated and highly-driven individuals to assist our national team in delivering projects to well-known industry names. Preferred study backgrounds and industry are as follows:

Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) writers: Food Science and Technology, or related engineering fields such as Food and Beverage Processing, Manufacturing, or Chemical/Process, ideally with exposure to industry research and manufacturing practices. Further, domain knowledge/hands-on experience with the following will be highly regarded:

product and/or formulation development (particularly in the field of food and beverage), including the development lifecycle

current raw material, product, and packaging material trends

processing and manufacturing technologies

quality testing and food safety considerations.

Previous experience in preparing academic and technical papers in your research area or expertise will be highly regarded. You will have the opportunity to work on projects for companies at the forefront of innovation, whilst collaborating with a dynamic team of PhD-qualified scientists, engineers, professionals, and lawyers. This role is to start immediately.

Recently completed or studying towards a post-graduate degree in the above-listed or related areas

Some exposure to or experience in academic, technical or whitepaper report-writing

An enthusiastic approach to work and an eagerness to learn

Ability to provide quality work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills
