The Company:

An established Australian organisation has an immediate need for a PowerBI Developer to work on a critical initiative within an enterprise environment. You must be Sydney based and able to work in the office 3 days per week.

The Role:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, with the ability to communicate with both non-technical and technical stakeholders including taking requirements and translating into Power BI solutions.
  • Develop PowerBI dashboards from business requirements and functional design documents, end user manuals and business glossaries.
  • Regular and effective internal customer engagement to build strong partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with business units and cross-functional teams responsible for IT delivery and services.
  • Support the Data & Analytics Teams to build positive working relationships with stakeholders and promote leveraging BI solutions to assist with decision making.

Your Skillset:

  • 5+ years of experience in building PowerBI dashboards and reports from scratch, ideally within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • Strong story-telling experience and design using PowerBI.
  • Customer / Stakeholder engagement & providing solutions through Business Intelligence.
  • DAX & SQL, Tabular Models.
  • Advanced PowerBI model optimisation using a variety of tools such as Dax Studio, ALM, Tabular Editor, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
  • User training & Support.
