What does the job look like?
As an Integration Specialist, you'll provide integration services for projects, application teams, and customers. You'll be responsible for requirement gathering, design, and development of new interfaces, as well as operational support for business-to-business (B2B), application-to-application (A2A), and application-to-consumer (A2C) scenarios.
You'll work closely with internal IT teams, project managers, and external technology partners to deliver robust, secure, and scalable integration solutions using IBM webMethods and modern integration practices.
This is a permanent, onsite role based at our Essendon Fields Headquarters.
Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, and support integration solutions using IBM webMethods.
- Provide operational support for production incidents, including after-hours coverage.
- Gather requirements, estimate effort, and create solution designs for integration projects.
- Perform quality assurance reviews and ensure compliance with CI/CD DevOps processes.
- Maintain adherence to Linfox IT standards and processes.

We're looking for a proactive, technically skilled professional with a passion for integration and DevOps. You'll bring hands-on experience with IBM webMethods, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate can demonstrate:
- Graduate qualifications in Computing or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in IBM webMethods toolsets.
- 3+ years' experience with IBM webMethods (ESB, UM, TN, MWS, API Gateway, BPM).
- Experience with systems administration, patching, monitoring, and upgrades of integration platforms.
- Strong design and development skills in integration patterns and best practices.
- Experience with B2B protocols (AS2, SFTP, REST, SOAP, XML, EDIFACT, X12, JSON, File).
- Experience with Java, XSLT, graphical mapping, and integration tools (Eclipse, SOAP UI, Postman).
- Knowledge of integration security principles.
