Role Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Junior Test Analyst
to join our team and support business-as-usual (BAU) initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in manual testing and a keen eye for identifying issues early in the development lifecycle. You'll work closely with the Technical Product Owner to ensure pre-release quality across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements for small-scale BAU initiatives
  • Translate requirements into clear testing scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • Design and execute manual test cases, documenting results and raising defects where necessary
  • Identify bugs and articulate issues with precision to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support pre-release testing activities and contribute to go/no-go decisions
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile delivery team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in a related technology / business field.
  • Demonstrated experience in manual testing of digital products (web portals or mobile apps)
  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into testable scenarios
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and digital delivery environments
  • Knowledge of superannuation is advantageous but not essential
  • Hands on knowledge of Jira, confluence and related efficiency tools.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Working Arrangement

  • Hybrid working setup
  • Must be willing and able to travel to the office as required
