Polishique is a modern, trend-driven nail and beauty salon known for delivering luxury nail experiences with creativity and care. We're all about stunning design, flawless technique, and helping clients feel confident and polished. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a freelance Social Media Content Creator & Strategist to help bring our brand to life online and offline.

The Role

We're seeking a creative partner to take charge of our social media presence. Someone who can plan, create, and execute content that tells the Polishique story, showcases our artistry, and builds a strong digital community. You'll work closely with our team to develop weekly content strategies, visit the salon for content shoots, and produce engaging, on-trend visuals for Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a weekly social media strategy
  • Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos (Reels, TikToks, Stories, etc.)
  • Write engaging captions aligned with Polishique's brand voice
  • Plan, schedule, and manage consistent posting
  • Engage with our community and track audience growth
  • Review analytics and suggest improvements for reach and engagement
  • Collaborate with the salon team on promotions, trends, and campaigns
  • Plan and execute local promotions, collaborations, or events (e.g. influencer nails, giveaways, salon signage, flyers)
  • Manage in-salon marketing displays, seasonal promotions, and campaigns

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for beauty, lifestyle, or fashion brands
  • Strong photography and short-form video editing skills (Instagram reels/TikTok expertise essential)
  • Understanding of social media algorithms, aesthetics, and trend forecasting
  • Ability to work independently and deliver creative ideas consistently
  • Based in Sydney (for in-salon shoots)
