A new opportunity has emerged for an experienced Electrical Isolation Coordinator to join a major infrastructure and defense project based in Sydney. This role is critical in ensuring the safe planning and execution of electrical isolation activities across complex worksites.

Your new role

In this position, you will:

  • Oversee and implement day-to-day electrical isolation activities
  • Maintain accurate isolation records and equipment logs
  • Deliver ongoing training and refreshers on isolation procedures to staff
  • Assist in the development and execution of isolation plans
  • Conduct annual reviews and updates of isolation procedures
  • Ensure compliance with audit schedules and health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Monitor and maintain lockout equipment, ensuring everything is serviceable and accounted for
  • Liaise effectively with customers, site teams, and stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade-qualified Electrician with a current Electrical License (NSW preferred)
  • Proven experience implementing electrical isolation procedures within construction or a related industry
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and documentation
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills in complex environments
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to delegate and communicate clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and electronic record systems
