Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Transit Systems Victoria Pty Ltd)

About the Role

Transit Systems (Victoria)is looking for a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic who is experienced with undertaking diagnostics, maintenance, repairs and rebuilds with heavy vehicle fleets. A key role to ensure our fleet is well maintained, safe and service delivery objectives are maintained.

Work close to home, all shifts are based out of our WEST FOOTSCRAY depot.

GREAT Hourly Rate, plus OVERTIME available

Work a fixed AM or PM shift with occasional weekend roster.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Trade Qualifications
  • Experience within the bus industry will be highly regarded, but not essential
  • MR or above Australian driver's license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experienced undertaking diagnostics, maintenance and repairs for a heavy commercial fleet
  • Experienced with scheduled and unscheduled servicing
  • Experienced with component rebuilds
