The Opportunity

We now have an amazing opportunity to be PARTT of something meaningful. As a key member of our Care Services team, you will play a hands-on role supporting an in-home participant building capacity to perform independent self-care activities.

The successful candidate will possess the experience to work with a child with ASD & ADHD with PDA and selective mutism profile. Local applicants are preferred.

You will be supporting the child in learning independent self-care skills to ready self and travel to school, with aim to build capacity for independence in preparation for transition to high school.

Ideally for early morning shifts to assist with early morning routines on Monday, Wednesday and Friday weekly. Additional days may be requested. Availability to start asap is preferred.

Additional hours may be available with other participants.

Desired Skills and Experience

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced, capable Support Worker with experience working with children, and familiar with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Own vehicle for transport with comprehensive insurance
  • Ability to work varied shifts
  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health or relevant field would be highly regarded
  • Current paid Blue Card / Working With Children Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current QLD Unrestricted Driver's License
