Montgomery Homes is a leading residential home builder with more than 35 years in the industry and a proven history of creating a positive work environment, tight-knit teams, quality homes, and happy customers.
With 25 display homes throughout Newcastle, the Hunter, Central Coast and Sydney; Montgomery Homes builds hundreds of homes throughout NSW each year and continue to go from strength to strength.
When you join Montgomery Homes, you become part of our inclusive and passionate team. We encourage diverse thinking and promote collaboration in an exciting and challenging environment.
About the role:
We're looking for a driven, hands-on digital all-rounder who lives and breathes social media content and website optimisation. In this role, you'll be our go-to person for both social media and website optimisation – capturing content on-site, managing social platforms, and analysing performance across channels. You'll also take ownership of the website experience, improving UX/UI, boosting conversion rates, and discovering new ways to generate qualified leads through innovative digital strategies.
If you're equal parts creative storyteller and data-driven thinker, this is your chance to shine.
This is a part-time role, 3 days per week, based at our Belmont office.
Your key tasks:
Social Media:
- Capture and curate engaging content across job sites, display homes, events, and client builds
- Manage our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest) – including scheduling, posting, community engagement, and performance reporting
- Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and business goals
Website/Digital Experience:
- Proactively bring new ideas to improve the website and keep visitors engaged, helping guide them from inspiration to enquiry
- Enhance the user experience across our website with a focus on increasing time-on-site, click-through rates, and enquiry conversions
- Analyse web performance using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Meta insights to make data-backed recommendations
- Collaborate with external suppliers to create engaging real-time onsite construction content
- Stay ahead of emerging digital and social trends, UX/UI best practices, and platform updates to continually improve our online presence
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Ability to bring out the best in people on camera – from construction supervisors on-site to interior designers in a display home – helping them feel relaxed and confident
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or digital media – or relevant training in social media and web optimisation
- 3 years' experience in social media and UX/UI website optimisation
- Demonstrated experience creating and scheduling content across multiple social platforms (Vista Social platform experience highly desirable)
- Strong visual storytelling, content planning and social media copywriting skills
- Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress)
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation and mobile-first design principles
- Experience with UX/UI wireframing
- Ability to suggest and implement CRO improvements (button placements, CTA design, user flows)
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Final Cut, Canva)
Why Montgomery Homes?
- Join an award-winning team that has been recognised for its architectural excellence and design achievements.
- You'll be part of a collaborative and passionate marketing crew who value creativity, results, and big ideas.
- Get hands-on from day one
- Exciting prospects for long-term career growth.
- Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.
- Enjoy a variety of discounts at some of Australia's favourite retailers and lifestyle services such as Harvey Norman, JB HI-FI, Big W, Airbnb, gyms and many more.
Ready to Build the Future With Us?
If you're ready to blend creativity with conversion and drive real results across our website and social media channels, we'd love to hear from you.
Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining why you're the ideal candidate for this role.
Applicants will be reviewed as they are submitted, and we reserve the right to make a delayed decision, not proceed with an appointment, or close the advertisement early.
All applications will be treated with the strictest confidence. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
