About the role

As a key member of the Corporate Affairs team, you will be part of a team delivering communication strategies that elevate the Fund's reputation, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and support strategic objectives. This role offers a great foundation for a career in corporate communications, with a focus on providing administrative support, drafting content, and coordinating team activities.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports, newsletters and media summaries.
  • Assist with presentations, drafting content, briefing packs, biographies, and Q&As for senior leaders.
  • Support logistics for interviews, events, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Provide admin support across systems, documents, and compliance processes.
  • Contribute to team meetings, ideation, and project tracking.
  • Provide general support across the team where necessary.

This role is available as a permanent/ full-time opportunity.

While our preference is for the successful candidate to be based in Brisbane, we are equally open to considering applicants located in Sydney or Melbourne.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator and writer with top notch interpersonal and organisational skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • Have completed a tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable using standard business software and systems, including Microsoft Office.
